Catch Up
I’m a bit behind on my posting, with the holidays and all. So I took some photos the other afternoon during playtime. You can see Sydney is getting around just fine. And Mason (besides looking cute) is LOVING his new Tag reader, and the Tractor Tippin book that he got for Christmas (Thanks, KK and Charlie).

Sydney is really moving along. She will explore the whole house. Mason, on the other hand was crawling for months before he’d leave whatever room we were in.
It’s a Marshmallow World in the Winter
This year, for simplicity’s sake, I decided to make a big batch of homemade hot cocoa mix and homemade marshmallows to give out to several friends and a few clients. (Sorry to spoil the surprise for a couple of you…) Anyway, I cut the uneven ends off the slab-o-mallow and had Evan give Mason a bite. I had this idea that he would go crazy over them, and I’d get these cute pictures of Mason gobbling up the sticky mess. Instead, he’d rather eat blueberry yogurt and applesauce - so this was the extent of his excitement over fluffy whipped sugar. Go figure.
Choo Choo
This morning while Sydney was (still is!) napping, Mason asked, “Mommy play block?” So we made a choo choo train, and you can see that Monkey was driving and Farmer Dailey rode the caboose. Then Mason decided it was his turn to ride the train.
Scrub-A-Dub
Now Sydney can take a bath without the infant tub! What a big girl.
She, like her brother, really likes that rubber ducky.

Seven Months
I’m a couple days late posting because we were out of town, but on Friday Sydney turned seven months old. She’s getting to be such a big girl!
I also caught her smiling at her daddy. I think she likes him - what do you think?
Not a newborn…
Look at what I caught Sydney getting into today. What happened to my cuddly newborn that sleeps all the time? And who is this big girl crawling everywhere and pulling up (sorta) on the bookshelves?
Gotta love the tongue.
